Well, on top of the whole "ghost town" thing, there was another incident.

A few weeks before I got here, I'd been attacked. My roommate was part of an elite military force, and apparently the people that broke down our front door were there for her.

I was the only one at home, and they tried to kill me. Our neighbors must've heard the gunfire, and they called for help. I spent a couple weeks in the hospital recovering. The whole time I was there, I tried not to think about the ghost town, and what would happen to dead bodies there.

It was really nerve-wracking, and I wasn't sure I'd make it or not. But I had just been released from the hospital when I was brought here.
